SMALL TOWN DATE NIGHT IDEAS (SUMMER EDITION)
The last time I did a date night post (Winter Edition), you guys went crazy for it! I promised you I would share the summer version and here it is!
Date nights are SO important to us! It's the best way for us to stay connected and spend some quality time together. It's super easy to get busy during the summer months and neglect our other half a little bit.
I think we all can positively say that it is a lot easier to come up with things to do in the summer months. I mean, just sitting outside is a dream. So this time I am sharing things Brett + I love to do and also some unique things you may not think of! Here are my small town summer date night ideas (even if you don't live in a small town, these could be a great way to get some quality time in!)
IDEAS (Summer Edition) :
Enjoy any local water spot! We have a ton of beaches in our small town so we love to go swimming, kayaking, or paddle boarding.
Have a self-timer photo session! Guys, we do this all the time and I promise it's so fun and you will also have cute photos together to share on Insta. ;)
Play some yard games! We personally love corn hole.
Have a bon-fire and roast marshmallows or make s'mores.
Watch the sunset. And to make it even better, put blankets in the back of a truck bed and cuddle up.
Go on a walk/hike! We have been doing this weekly.
Do some yard work or work on a project together.
Go play 9 holes of golf or mini golf together.
With berry picking session just around the corner, you could go and pick strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries
Have a shopping day! Go garage saling, explore local downtown shops, + don't forget to get ice cream.
