Our Go-To Stain Colors
If you’ve found yourself working on a project and looking for the perfect stain color, you’ll know that there are so many options to choose from—I actually think we’ve tried them all at this point. Haha! But thankfully, we have found our tried and true colors that work so well anywhere we’ve used them. From light to dark, here are our go-to’s! Note: All stain colors can vary a slightly on the type of wood as well.

The perfect medium stain color IMO. I’ve used this all over my home—on our DIY Photo Ledges, open shelving, and our coffee table and end table! It is so versatile and warm, without feeling rustic.
If you’re looking for a darker stain that isn’t TOO dark, this is it! I’ve used this one on our kitchen counters, sliding barn door, built in bench seat, and of course, our dining table! I love the richness it adds to a space.
