Our Storefront Expansion at Grace + Gather (and a coffee shop)
We expanded our storefront in Downtown Houghton!! For those that aren’t familiar with what i’m talking about — here’s a little run down:
Kendra and I attended a women’s conference in October of 2019 with some of our friends and fellow entrepreneurs. While we were driving back from the amazing and impactful weekend, we had the idea of opening a home and clothing shop in our hometown and ran with it! In February of 2020 we got the keys to our space and got to work renovating it (well our husbands did most of that work). Here are some blog posts of the process (Renovating Grace + Gather Series.) We opened our doors in May or 2020 and had the most amazing year learning and growing with our business, with the most supportive community around us.
Then in January of 2021 the space next door to ours became available and gave us the opportunity to expand our space!! It was all a dream come true and to make a great thing even better, we asked our lovely friend Allison from Camp Coffee Co. if she wanted to join us in this adventure and open a cafe in our space! Luckily for us, she was in and also so excited. So then we got to work again on renovating the space and planning for our opening! We started renovations in January of 2021 and officially opened our expanded space in June of 2021!
Now that the space is finished and open I thought it would be fun to share some before and after photos for you all to see the difference — and also get a sneak peek of the space for those who haven’t been able to visit (yet..hopefully)!

Our mission for Grace + Gather is to inspire others to grow and flourish through cultivating a beautiful wardrobe and a cozy home. The meaning of our name came from our dreams to create a beautiful and inviting space to gather with others, to grow our community and businesses, all while remembering and reminding each other that grace paves the way!

Workshops, parties, fun get-togethers! Our space is bright, open, and a super fun place to hold gatherings! The Grace + Gather space is available for rent Monday - Saturday evenings and Sundays! Our vision for Grace + Gather is for it to be a space where authenticity flows, creativity flourishes, and community grows. We care so much about all three, but especially community. Our goal is provide a place for women to come together, hang out, and lift each other up with positivity. We can't wait to make quality connections with you at our events!
